Why one company

No gaps between trades.

A bathroom is not one trade. It is joinery, electrical, tiling and decoration in the right order, and every handover between them is a chance for the programme to slip.

Holding those trades in one company removes the handovers. Nobody is waiting on a subcontractor to finish somewhere else, and nobody is blaming the trade before them for what they found when they opened it up.
